One of the benefits of attending the YATP is going to various workshops sponsored by the Center for Accessible Living. Today our students attended a seminar with guest speaker Adam Hall, Community and Economic Development through fifth Third Bank. The topic of discussion was "Money Skills for the Real World". Students were given life scenarios that included them working together to understand the importance of saving earnings and creating/maintaining a budget given their wants and needs.
These various workshops are held at the Bon Air Library at 2816 Del Rio Place, Louisville, KY. Amy Jones coordinates all monthly events and can be reached for more resources and information with populations of young adults from age 16-28. These events are FREE and you can RSVP at [email protected]. Happy New Year from the YATP! We started 2017 off with a fresh start and when we think of fresh we think of breakfast ideas...French Toast it is for January's theme!!
